Pallax Documentation
This documentation guides you through the Pallax interface: from your first login to analyzing your device data.
Getting started
After logging in you land directly in the Cockpit — the overview of your devices' and gateways' state. If you haven't set up a device yet, you'll find the right wizard on the Devices page.
Managing devices
Everything to do with your devices and gateways — provisioning, filtering, checking details, translating their raw data, and deciding where the data flows — you'll find under Platform:
- Cockpit — the quick overview
- Devices — the complete device list
- Decoder — translating raw data into readable values
- Cortex — setting up data destinations
Monitoring and analyzing data
Analysis over time, scheduled reports, evidence, and alerts — you'll find them under Analytics:
- Dashboards — assembling your own charts
- Reports — scheduled, exported deliveries
- Compliance — software bills of materials for your gateways
- Console — the live, searchable log history
- Signal — alert rules and bundled notifications
Technical deep dive
For technical readers who need connection paths, formats, and procedures in detail, there are dedicated chapters under Technical:
- Pallax Agent — installation, pairing, and how to check whether it's running.
- Cortex in depth — destination types, configuration, and monitoring individual routes.
- Connecting a gateway without the agent — the manual step-by-step guide.
